It’s cookie time guys. Chef Ajay Chopra is here with yet another amazing recipe of our very favourite ‘Chocolate Chip Cookies.’ Who doesn’t like the yummy smell of freshly baked cookies? It’s just delightful. So, get up and start baking.
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tbsp. castor sugar
- 1 tbsp. dark brown sugar
- 1 no. egg
- 1-1.5 pinch baking soda
- 1-2 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp. chocolate chip
- 1 cup refined flour
- Take 1 cup butter, 1 tbsp. castor sugar, and 1 tbsp. dark brown sugar in a big bowl and start creaming. Creaming is done by beating the butter and the sugar together. Start beating very slowly and increase the speed eventually.
- When the sugar starts melting add 1 no. egg into it and continue beating thoroughly. Now add 1-1.5 pinch of baking soda, 1-2 pinches of salt, 1 tbsp. chocolate chips into the cream mixture and mix it up nicely.
- Now add 1 cup refined flour to it and mix it thoroughly to form a nice cookie dough. Refrigerate this dough for 15-20 minutes. Pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees for almost 10 minutes. Make small dough balls from the refrigerated dough and place them onto the baking tray, giving appropriate space in between so that they can expand nicely without touching each other.
- Keep the tray in the pre-heated oven for 8-10 minutes. After 8-10 minutes take out the warm cookies from the oven and separate them with a knife if they are touching each other. As it cools down the cookies will get harder and ready to be served.
