Mutton Curry
*INGREDIENTS*
3 tbsp mustard oil
2 cinnamon
3-4 black pepper
3-4 cloves
2 green cardamom
2 black cardamom
2 bayleaf
4 non sliced onion
500 GMS mutton
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste To taste salt
1 TSP kashmiri chilly powder
1 TSP turmeric
2 tbsp coriander powder
1 cup tomato puree
2 slits green chili
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp chopped coriander
*METHOD*
• Heat mustard oil in a thick bottom pan
• add whole garam masala and slow. the flame allow the masala to release aroma and then
• add sliced onion and cook till. nicely brown and crisp
• add mutton with salt and bhuno a while
• reduce the flame and add DEGHI mirch powder and turmeric powder, add coriander powder and cook briefly till oil floats on top
• add ginger garlic paste and BHUNO
• add little water and stir well to prevent the meat from sticking at the bottom
• Then add tomato puree and again bhuno
• Then add slits of green chili and salt mix well
• closed the lid and cook on slow heat till meat leaves the bone
• finish the mutton with chopped coriander and garam masala
