Rava Masala Dosa
Ingredients:
For Dosa
Suji – 2 cups
Besan – 2 tbsp
Wheat flour – 2 tbsp
Dahi – 1 cup
Salt – as per taste
Water – 1 cup
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Oil – 1 tsp
For Aloo Masala
Coconut oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Dhuli urad dal – 1 tsp
Whole dry red chili – 1 number
Slit green chili – 2-3 nos
Sliced onion – 1 cup
Curry leaves – 8-9 nos
Salt – as per taste
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – ½ tsp
Boiled crushed potato – 2-3 nos
Method:
For Dosa
In a grinder put suji, besan, wheat flour, and grind it into a fine powder, then transfer this into a bowl and add dahi, salt, water, and mix it well and keep it aside to rest
Now add baking soda and mix it well.
In a dosa pan heat oil and then sprinkle the water and maintain the temperature.
Pour one full ladle of batter on a pan and spread it in a round shape and pour a little bit of oil from the sides and increase the flame.
Now put aloo masala on top of the dosa and roll it, and repeat the process again.
Now your suji masala dosa is ready to enjoy, service with tomato chutney.
For aloo masala
In a pan heat coconut oil, add mustard seed let it crackle, now add dhuli urad dal, red dry chili, slit green chili, sliced onion, curry leaves and sauté it completely.
Now add salt, turmeric, red chili powder, and lightly sauté everything, then add boiled crushed potato, a little bit of water, and mix everything and cook for more than 2-3 minutes.
Now keep the aloo masala in a bowl and set it aside to cool it down.
Enjoy this super crispy dosa for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
