Recipe of Suji ka Nasta

 

Ingredients:

 

  • Suji: 1 cup
  • Rice flour: ¼ cup
  • Salt: 1 tbsp
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Onion, diced: ½ cup
  • Capsicum, diced: ¼ cup
  • Oregano: 1 tbsp
  • Chilli flakes: ½ tbsp
  • Fried garlic: 1 tbsp
  • Hot water: 2 cups
  • Schezwan sauce: 2 tbsp
  • Potato, boiled: 2 pcs
  • Cheese, grated: ⅓ cup

 

 

Method:

 

  1. Heat a pan and add water, salt. Bring it to a boil.
  2. Meanwhile, heat another pan, add oil, diced onion, diced capsicum, oregano, chilli flakes, and sauté.
  3. Add suji and sauté for 3-4 mins on medium-low flame.
  4. Add fried garlic and continue to sauté.
  5. Once cooked, add hot water gradually while continuously stirring.
  6. Cook until the mixture doesn't stick to the pan.
  7. Add Schezwan sauce and mix well.
  8. Then add grated cheese, grated boiled potato, and rice flour. Fold them into the mixture.
  9. Transfer the mixture to a tray and spread it evenly to make a flat surface.
  10. Cut it into rectangular shapes and set aside.
  11. Heat a flat pan, add oil, and place the pieces.
  12. Cook on one side, then flip. Grate some cheese on top and cook until it melts.
  13. Flip again and grate more cheese on top. Cook until the cheese melts completely.
