Baked Pasta
Ingredients
For cheese sauce
1 tbsp Butter
3/4 tbspRefined flour
1 and 1/2cup Milk
½ cup Processed cheese.
1 tbsp Chopped jalapeno
½ tsp Paprika powder
¼ tsp Garlic powder
¼ tsp Onion powder
¼ tsp Oregano dried
¼ tsp Dried parsley
1 cup Penne pasta
For gratination
½ cup Mozzarella pizza cheese
For veggies
¼ cup Carrot diamond-cut
¼ cup Beans diamond-cut
¼ cup Baby corn diamond-cut
¼ cup Zucchini diamond-cut
¼ cup Cauliflower small florets
6 pcs Chopped olives
Method.
1. In boiling water add salt, oil, and pasta. Cook it for about 7 to 8 minutes. It’s better to keep pasta half-cooked because it gets baked in the oven too.
2.For the sauce, in a pan heat a little oil, butter, and refined flour of the same quantity. Stir continuously and cook for a minute.
3.Pour 1 and ½ cup warm milk in intervals while stirring continuously with the whisk.
4.Add salt and black pepper powder and continue stirring and until the sauce starts to thicken.
5.Heat oil and butter in a separate pan, add chopped onion, chopped garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano salt, and black pepper powder, and mix it well.
6.Add vegetables and little water then stir and cook veggies until 50% done. Now add the half-cooked pasta and then add the white sauce prepared earlier with grated processed cheese and mozzarella cheese in the half-cooked veggies and then cook for a while and remove it in a bowl.
7. Garnish the pasta with chopped jalapeno, chopped olive, and grated cheese, and then bake at 180 degrees for about 8 to 10 mins.
8. Serve this healthy and yummy baked pasta for your loved ones hot and piping.
