  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp deggi mirch powder (or paprika for color)
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup brown onion paste
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup thin cashew paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 3 drops kewra water
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, for garnish





  1. Heat desi ghee and refined oil in a thick-bottomed pan.

  2. Add bay leaves, javitri, star anise, black pepper, cloves, green cardamom, black cardamom, pathar ke phool, and cinnamon. Let them crackle and release their aroma.
