Chinese bhel Mumbai Street
Ingredients:
Puffed Rice.
1tbsp. chopped Onions.
Handful chopped Coriander leaves.
1/2tsp. Red Chilli powder.
1/2tsp. Chaat Masala.
Salt to taste.
2-3 nos. Green Chillies.
1 cup chopped Tomatoes.
1tbsp. Mint Chutney.
1 cup chopped boiled Potatoes.
1no. Lemon.
4-5 nos. Papdi
1tbsp. Sev.
Chinese Bhel
1 no. Spring Onion.
1 cup chopped Red and Yellow Capsicum.
1 bowl chopped Cabbage.
1 bowl fries Noodles.
1tbsp. Schezwan Sauce.
1tbsp. Red Chilli Sauce.
1tbsp. Vinegar.
Chopped Coriander.
2-3 nos. chopped Green Chillies.
1tbsp. Sliced Onions.
Method:
Take half a bowl of puffed rice and add 1tbsp. chopped Onions to it. Finely chop handful fresh Coriander leaves and add. Now add 1/2tsp. Red Chilli powder, 1/2tsp. Chaat Masala and Salt to taste. Now finely chop 2-3 nos. of Green Chillies and add. Add 1 cup chop Tomatoes to this. With this add 1tbsp. Mint Chutney and 1 cup chopped boiled Potatoes to this. Squeeze 1no. of Lemon in this. Now stir everything up together. Crush 4-5 nos. crunchy “Papadi” into this and also add 1tbsp. Gram flour “Sev” to this. Toss it up together and serve it in a paper cone with a “Papadi.”
Chinese Bhel-
Finely chop 1no. of Spring Onion, add 1cup of chopped Red and Yellow Capsicum and 1/2 bowl of chopped Cabbage to it. Now add 1 bowl of fried Noodles, 1tbsp. Schezwan sauce, 1tbsp. Red Chilli sauce, 1tbsp. Vinegar, 1tbsp. chopped Coriander and Green Chillies, 1tbsp. chopped Onions and mix it up together. Toss nicely. Garnish with a fresh sprig of Coriander and serve it in a paper cone, plate or even a bowl.
