Dhaba Style Chicken Curry
Ingredients:
- Mustard oil – 2 tbsp
- Bay leaf – 2 numbers
- Cinnamon – 1 stick
- Javitri – 1 number
- Green cardamon – 2-3 numbers
- Black cardamon – 1-2 numbers
- Black pepper corn – 2-3 numbers
- Chopped onion – 1 cup
- Curd – ½ cup
- Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Green chilies – 2 numbers
- Tomato puree – 2 cups
- Kasoori methi – 1 tsp
- Chopped coriander – 2 tsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
Method:
- In a kadai heat mustard oil, then put bay leaf, cinnamon, javitri, green cardamon, black cardamon, black pepper corn, and let them crackle.
- Now add chopped onion, and sauté it tills it get brown color.
- Now marinate chicken with curd, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and mix it well and keep it aside
- Add ginger-garlic paste, and little bit water and sauté well.
- Now add green chilies, pinch of coriander powder, pinch of black pepper powder, pinch of turmeric powder, pinch of red chili powder, pinch of jeera powder, pinch of garam masala powder and mix it well and cook this mixture for 2-3 minute.
- Add marinated chicken in kadai and sauté for some more time and pour tomato puree and mix it and cover with lead and let it cook.
- Now put kasoori methi, chopped green coriander and mix it and cook it for more 3-4 minutes.
- Put garam masala for finishing and cook it for more 3-4 minute and your dhaba wala chicken is ready to enjoy.
