Baida Roti Nonveg


Ingredients:-

For Kheema Masala

Cinnamon Sticks :-1

Cloves:- 3-4

Green Cardamom:- 3-4

Onion(Chopped):- 1

Green Chilies (Chopped):- 2

Ginger(Chopped):- ½ inch

Ginger Garlic Paste:- 1tbsp

Turmeric powder:- ¼th tsp

Red Chili Powder:- 1tsp

Coriander Powder:- 1tsp

 Salt:- 1tsp

 Jeera Powder:- ½ tsp

Water:- 1cup

Kheema/ soya granules for vegetarian :- 250gms

Garam Masala:- 1tsp

Chopped Coriander:- 1tsp

Mint Leaves:- ½ tsp

For Roti;

Maida:- 2cups

Salt:- 2tsp

Oil:- 2tbsp

Water:- ½ cup

For Veg Batter;

Besan:-1 ½tbsp

Salt:- 1tsp

Turmeric Powder:- 1tsp

Red Chili Powder:- 1tsp

Chopped Coriander :- 2tsp

Water:- ½ cup

 

For Non-veg Batter;

Eggs:- 2

Red Chili Powder:- 1tsp

Salt:-1tsp

Turmeric powder:- 1pinch

Chopped Coriander:- 2tsp

 

For Veg Stuffing, take minced soyabean.

Method:-

For Kheema Masala non veg

Heat oil in a pan,

Add cinnmaon, cloves and cardamom, allow it to crackle.

Add chopped onion and cook till golden brown.

Add ginger and green chillies chopped and cook it for a while

Add ginger garlic paste with some water and cook further.

Put turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder and cook futher for 1 minute

Add salt and jeera powder and continue cooking

Add kheema and cook till it releases water.

Add warm water and cook on slow flame for 20 minutes or till it is cooked completely.

Finish the kheema with garam masala powder and mint.

For Kheema Masala  veg

Heat oil in a pan,

Add cinnmaon, cloves and cardamom, allow it to crackle.

Add chopped onion and cook till golden brown.

Add ginger and green chillies chopped and cook it for a while

Add ginger garlic paste with some water and cook further.

Put turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder and cook futher for 1 minute

Add salt and jeera powder and continue cooking

Add soya granules and cook till it releases water.

Add warm water and cook on slow flame for 20 minutes or till it is cooked completely.

Finish the soya granules kheema with garam masala powder and mint.

For Roti;

In a bowl Take 2cups of  maida, 2tsp of salt, 2tbsp of oil, and ½ cup of water to knead a soft and pliable dough

Allow it to rest for 15 minutes.

Divide the dough in equal portions

Roll the dough into thin rotis of 10 inch diameter.

For Veg Batter;

Mix together 1 ½ tbsp besan, 1tsp of salt, 1tsp of turmeric powder, 1tsp of red chili powder, 2tsp of chopped coriander, and ½ cup of water to a smooth consistency.

For Non Veg Batter;

Mix together Take 2eggs, 1tsp of red chili powder, 1tsp of salt, 1pinch of turmeric powder, and 2tsp of chopped coriander and water to a smooth consistency.

To assemble the Baida roti ( non veg)

Heat a non-stick tawa. Place each roti on it and cook for 2 minutes on each side. Drizzle some oil on the sides and cook.

 

Place a portion of cooked  mince mixture in the centre, fold in the sides to make a square packet. Press and pour some batter on top. Flip, drizzle some more oil on the sides and cook, turning sides, till both sides turn golden and crisp.

Cut these baida roti in squares serve hot

To assemble the Baida roti (veg)

Heat a non-stick tawa. Place each roti on it and cook for 2 minutes on each side. Drizzle some oil on the sides and cook.
