Chef Ajay Chopra brings you a seasonal delight with this video. Such a simple method of preparing the ‘Mango Ice Cream’ at home. You guys should definitely try and let this.
- 250 ml milk
- 3 tbsp. custard powder
- 3 nos. mangoes
- 2-3 tbsp. sugar
- 2-3 tbsp. cream
- 1/4 cup whipped cream
- Boil about 250 ml milk and let it thicken. Take 3 tbsp. custard powder and mix it in 3 tbsp. of milk. Mix it well so that no lumps are formed. Scrape out the pulp of 3 nos. of mangoes and blend it in the grinder.
- Add 2-3 tbsp. sugar to the thickened milk. Stir the custard mixture and add it to the milk. Keep stirring as it is boiling. Then transfer this in a different bowl and add 2-3 tbsp. of cream into it. Mix it well and let it cool down.
- Add the mango puree into this and again mix it nicely. Now add 1/4th cup of whipped cream to this and mix it well. Keep this in the freezer for 7-8 hours but take it out every two hours and whisk it. After 7-8 hours, scoop it out and serve it with a garnish of pistachios on the top.
