  • 6 bhavnagari chillies
  • besan 2 cups
  • soda bi carbonate 1/4 tsp
  • ajwain 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil to deep fry
For stuffing:
  • chambal refined soybean oil 1 tbsp
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
  • coriander seeds 1/4 tsp
  • hing 1 pinch
  • green chilli and ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • potato boiled and mashed 250 gms
  • red chilly powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • sugar 5 grams
  • broken cashewnuts 20 grams
  • amchoor powder 1tsp
  • garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • chopped coriander 20 grams
Method:
    • To make stuffing heat oil in a kadahi and make tadka of cumin, fennel, coriander seeds and hing.
    • Add ginger and chilly paste and cook for a while.
    • Add all the dry masala and cook on slow flame.
    • Add potato and dried fruits and mix.
    • Finish with coriander and allow it to cool

  • For chillies:
    • Make a pouring batter of besan, ajwain , salt and soda.
    • Slit the chillies and stuff aloo masala in the chillies.
    • Heat oil in a kadahi and batter fry the mirchi pakoda.
