  • 1 no. onion
  • 1 no. tomato
  • 1 no. cucumber
  • 1 no. capsicum
  • handful chopped ginger
  • 2 nos. boiled potatoes
  • 1 no. boiled beetroot
  • oil
  • 1 tsp. cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp. mustard seeds
  • 2 nos. green chilli
  • handful curry leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp. red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp. roasted cumin powder
  • mayonnaise
  • butter
  • mint chutney
  • chat masala
  • sev namkeen
Method:
  • Dice 1 no. onion, 1 no. tomato, 1 no. cucumber, 1 no. capsicum, handful ginger julienne 1 no. boiled potato and 1 no. boiled beetroot and 1 no.
  • Take some oil in a pan. Add 1 tsp. cumin seeds and 1 tsp. mustard seeds to it. As they get roasted add chopped ginger, 2 nos. green chillies and toss is up. Then add a handful fresh curry leaves, chopped onion and sauté. Now, add 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. turmeric powder, 1 tsp. red chilli powder, 1 tsp. roasted cumin powder and mash a boiled potato into it. add a dash of water to keep the potato moist.
  • Smear a layer of mayonnaise and butter on one side of the bread. Second layer on the bread is mint chutney. Then we arrange all our chopped vegetables on it and add a pinch of chat masala on it and cover it with another slice of bread and one type of our sandwich is ready.
  • On the next we place the potato masala, then our chopped vegetables, a pinch of chat masala and grate some cheese over it. Cover it with another slice of bread covered with butter and place them in the sandwich maker.
  • Cut the crisp sandwiches into pieces, put some more mint chutney over it, spread some sev namkeen on it and serve.
