Jalebi Sticks 



FOR JALEBI BATTER

3 cup flour

1/2 cup cornflour

2 cup hung curd

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

FOR FRYING

1/2 cup ghee ( optional)

1/2 cup oil sunflower

FOR CHASNI

3 cup sugar

3 cup water

5 strand saffron

FOR RABRI

3 cups milk

1 cup mawa

2 tbsp sugar

5 strands saffron

METHOD:

Mix all the batter ingredients with water to achieve thick dropping consistency and ferment it overnight

Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle and set it aside

Mix sugar, water and saffron to make 1 string of sugar syrup

For rabri boil milk reduce to half add mawa, cook on slow flame, add sugar and saffron

Heat oil on medium flame, with the help of squeeze, make jalebi sticks, cook it till crisp and light brown.

Soak it in chasni serve hot with rabri.
