Aloo Ki Wadiyan Ingredients

Oil                                    2 Tbsp

Ghee                                2 Tbsp

Hing                                 1 tsp

Punjabi Wadi                   2 Nos.

Potatoes                          2 Nos.

Onion Paste                    ½ Cup

Ginger & Garlic Paste      2 Tbsp

Green Chillies                  3-4pcs

Tomato Paste                  ½ Cup

Salt                                  1 Tbsp

Jeera                               1 tbsp

Bayleaf                            2-3 pcs

Kashmiri Chilly Powder   1 Tbsp

Turmeric Powder             1 Tbsp

Coriander Powder           1 Tbsp

Jeera Powder                  ½ Tbsp

Kasoori Methi                  1 tbsp

Garam Masala Powder   1 Tsp

Chopped Coriander         2 Tbsp

 

Method:

 

Ø Break wadiyan into bite size pieces.

Ø Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the wadiyan.

Ø Soak wadiyan into water.

Ø Grind onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies, tomato together to make a smooth paste.

Ø Heat oil in a cooker add grounded masala paste and cook till masala leaves oil.

Ø Add potato and wadiyan in the pan and mix thoroughly.

Ø Add salt, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cook it nicely.

Ø Add hot water and cover the cooker lid.

Ø Allow to cook on medium flame for 2 whistles.

Ø Open the lid, finish the dish with garam masala and chopped coriander.
