Red Velvet Cake


Ingredients :

1 tsp vinegar

1 tsp vanilla essence

1 cup oil

1 cup water

1 cup buttermilk

1 egg

1 tsp natural food color

1 cup sugar

½ tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 cup maida

3-4 tsp cream cheese

1 cup icing sugar

2-3 tsp melted butter

1 cup whipped cream

Method :

In a mixing bowl add vinegar, vanilla essence, oil, water, buttermilk, egg, food color, sugar and  keep wishing till sugar is dissolved

Then add salt, baking powder, baking soda, maida and mix them nicely to make a smooth cake batter

 pour the cake mixture in greased cake teen

Then preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes

 bake red velvet cake for 25 to 28 min at 180 degree

And 160 degree for 5 min further

Allow the cake to cool

In  a mixing bowl add cream cheese, icing sugar, melted butter, whipped cream using the cut and  fold method

Cut the top layer,  then cut the red velvet cake into a 3 layers

Apply cream between 2 layers then laminated cake with cream cheese frosting keep in the fridge  for 15 min

Finish the cake and decorate with leftover cake crumble.
