Shahi Paneer
Ingredients of Shahi Paneer
• For gravy
• 4-5 tomatoes
• 1 inch Ginger Chopped
• 4-5 cloves Garlic Chopped
• 2-3 kashmiri Red chilly
• 2 tbsp coriander with stem
• 2 pcs green cardamom
• 2 pcs black cardamom
• 1 inch cinnamon
• 1 bay leaf
• 4-5 pcs
• 4-5 peppercorn
• For Shahi paneer masala
• 1 tbsp oil
• 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
• 2 tbsp brown onion paste
• 1 cup Cashew & melon seed paste
• 1 tsp cardamom powder
• 1/2 tsp mace powder
• 1 tsp sugar
• 2 tbsp cream
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 tsp KASOORI methi
• 3-4 coriander sprigs
• 200 gms Malai Paneer
METHOD OF SHAHI PANEER
• Cut the paneer into cubes and keep aside
• For the gravy
• Boil water in a cooking pan add a ¼ cut tomatoes, coriander with stem, ginger, garlic cloves, whole red chili, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, peppercorn, black cardamom, and green cardamom, boil till tomatoes are very well cooked.
• Then allow it to cool and remove the whole garam masala and make a fine paste
• For shahi paneer masala
• heat a pan add oil and add ginger garlic paste and saute well
• Then add turmeric and red chili powder.
• Then add the prepared tomato paste
• Then add brown onion paste and Cashew & melon seed paste
• Add salt and allow it to boil
• Then add cream and cardamom and mace powder mix well
• Add butter and paneer cubes
• finish the gravy with Kasuri methi powder
• garnish shahi paneer with fresh cream and coriander sprigs
