Ingredients


  • Rice flour - 1 1/2 cup
    Sugar -3/4 cup
    Water - 6 cups
    Ground Cinnamon - 1 tsp
    Ground Anise - 1/2 tsp
    Ground Caraway - 2 tbsp
    Pistachios , Cashew nuts, Almonds and Walnuts - 1 cup (chopped)
    Shredded coconut - 1 cup
    Rose water - 1 tbsp

Method


  • 1. Soak rice flour in 2 cups of water and keep aside for 2 hours.
    2. Soak the chopped nuts in water mixed with a bit of rose water and keep aside.
    3. Boil 6 cups water in a large pan. Mix the rice flour and water mixture into the pan and whisk it.
    4. Keep whisking constantly in medium flame and gradually keep adding the sugar and spices.
    5. Keep stirring till the mixture thickens. It may take 30-40mins.
    6. Pour the thick mixture in individual serving bowls and garnish it with rose water soaked nuts and shredded coconut.
    7. Let it sit in the fridge for 3 hours before serving.
